We’re glad you like the blog - and we’re really sorry for the inactivity!

We haven’t been doing much trading recently for a handful of reasons and as a result we don’t have any content lined up!

As always submissions are really appreciated but I’ll see what I can do about scouring some websites for some content.

Hold onto your hats, kids, it’s time for a festive crate! (And don’t forget the double key prices that will eventually come along with it!)

Maybe not a trainwreck - but interesting.

I got added this morning by someone (haven’t bumped trades in weeks, etc) who added me “Browsing through profiles .__.”. If a newer player adds me asking if I have any weapons I’ll gladly give them a spare, this person had roughly 360 hours.

But then they say - “What about the rest? D:” and I start feeling a little sour. That seems rather ungrateful doesn’t it?

At this point, I’m going to point out that I have four off-level unique items from the MVM bug - A Third Degree, a Backburner, a Winger and an Axtiguisher

This also probably makes it appear like I have doubles of them all.

The conversation ended there, but it confused me for a while. Despite their hours their backpack was pretty well filled out but not really suspicious, nor did I find any off level weapons in there.

I’ve got to say: I really don’t understand these trades.

I mean, really, do people get bites for this? (What am I saying - of course they do. Somehow.) Scrapbanking is one thing, and legitimate enough- but why would anyone take this trade? There’s no point gong though the hassle for it.

When selling weapons for one scrap, people occasionally try and pull a fast one on me and try make me do a scrapbank trade instead. I usually respond with, “If I wanted a scrap for two weapons, I would just craft my weapons together. Now pay up or get out.”

They usually get out. I can’t blame them- it’s not their fault they didn’t add somebody moronic.
